This new xanga is so confusing to use. It took me like 15mins to figure this out.

I just ate biscuits and gravy for breakfast. Why is gravy so good. I think any kind of gravy is good, but i especially love country gravy that's smuthered on biscuits or country fried steak. Egg is another thing that i love. Yesterday I ate fried egg, rice, and kimchi for dinner (thanks Shinae). It was so simple, yet so good. i think egg with anything is good. My favorite is steak with eggs, grilled onions, and rice.

so i have 3 more days til SPAIN!! I'm trying not to get too excited cuz we do have standby tickets...and worse case we'd be just chilling in Copenhagen instead...but still it'll be nice to just get a break from my crazy hectic life in here. too bad there's a 40 degree difference in temp b/n copenhagen and spain. i dunno how i should pack. Wish they had a zippered pants that turn into shorts for girls. i know guys wear that.

My work gave me two vacation days off this month for my birthday, so I decided to use today as one of my off days. What did I do? I used it to renew my driver's license, study at the library until they kicked me out, and study at sbucks until they kicked me out cuz they were closing. Only highlight of the day was the hour lunch i had with Mi Na Hong, Rossie, and Hoops at CPK. I have no life

Probably one of the worst, if the not worst, movie i've ever seen. i remember we watched it at SIFF and my friends were mad that i suggested this movie. But apparently, we may have missed something b/c critics seemed to have loved it and Rotten Tomatoes rated it 95%

Woman on the Beach

"One of the recent cinema's deepest portraits of an artist." -- Richard Brody, The New Yorker

"A bittersweet accounting of the geography of desire. Mr. Hong's elegant, restrained films chart the mysteries of the heart and the follies of the head with intelligence and shock waves of feeling… Mr. Hong has a talent for mixing the sweet and the sour, for balancing humor with heartache, levity with pain. Wry and tender and delicately melancholic. WOMAN ON THE BEACH shows a newly confident filmmaker again working near the top of his form."
– Manohla Dargis, The New York Times

My mom kept wanting to go to OCB for Christmas...but I was embarrassed to be the family eating at OCB on Christmas. Thank goodness OCB was closed. So, we ended up eating teriyaki for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Our company is having a work dinner tonight. At first I got super excited b/c my manager told me that it would be at a really nice restaurant and not at the ghetto soon-dae house in Federal Way. He told me that we'd be going to Salty's in Redondo...then he said we each need to pitch in $50 to go out. I realize it was no longer a company dinner like they said it was...but more of an excuse for our manager to hang out with us.

I hope someday someone will take me to Salty's without having me pull out my wallet. Most people have been to Salty's probably for homecoming or tolo with their dates...but when i think back on my highschool dances...i guess the nicest place my date took me was to Sea Garden in Bellevue for homecoming. The group of guys each ordered one dish (ranging from $7.95 ~ $13.95) to share with their dates. In the end our group ran out of food and ended up getting leftovers from the table next to us.
